How to create the most beautiful fall table scape
It is no secret that I absolutely love MacKenzie Child's! They are by far one of my favorite decor retailers and I love their unique take interior design with bold florals and of course, Courtly Check. Not to mention their flagship store and Victorian home is nestled in the coveted Finger Lakes in Upstate New York and visiting their store and the town of Aurora is the quintessential small town experience with a taste of luxury. You'll definitely want to plan a little getaway at the Inns of Aurora (the spa is a dream!) and certainly stop at MacKenzie Childs!
How to Design the Perfect Table Scape
Start with beautifully designed plates! I began with Mackenzie Childs Courtly Check Enamel Dinner Plates (my personal favorite pattern.) I layered with the SOHO salad plate in cloud. These plates are uniquely designed in Portugal and future a texture surface made from random drops of wax that gives it a matte and glossy finish. Next, I used the Courtney Check Breakfast Bowl layered with a simple white napkin wrapped in the Polka Pumpkin Napkin Rings. The beading on these rings is intricate and well designed- the perfect finishing touch.
The Center Piece
Creating a center piece that was beautiful to view but didn't obstruct the eye line of my guests was an important part of why I designed my table scape with low decor. I personally do not like when you cannot have conversation with your family and friends because you cannot see them-isn't that the point of sharing a meal? When I was designing this table I knew I wanted to tie in the Courtly Check with autumn colors and the Autumn Frost Garland with the Elegant Stripe Pumpkin was the perfect touch.
Final Touches
To add the last bit of ambiance to set the mood I used the Harlequin Dot Dinner Candles set in the Ribbed Double Sphere Candle Holders
